How to connect phone AND PD10 to SMH10)

I seem to only be able to connect my phone OR PD10 to my SMH10; I thought both was possible.  Which is correct?  How?  Can another component be added to "merge" the two signals, prioritize them and then connect them to the SMH10?

  Samuel,

  You should be able to use your phone for phone calls while the PD10 is also connected to the SMH10. If the PD10 is already connected to the SMH10, the music on your phone won't play - this is because the SMH10 can only connect to one music source at a time.

  What you should try is to pair your phone first and then pair the PD10.
