Difference between SPH10 vs Expand

what is the difference between the SPH10 and expand models.  I have one of each.  The expand was ordered by mistake, I wanted to get 2 of the SPH10 models.  I do not have time for a return.  I plan on using these units on a large yacht.  What does the SPH10 model do that the expand does not?

  I too am looking to buy two or three of these for use on our boat. From the specs I cannot see a difference that justifies the price difference and cannot tell which might be better for use on a boat.
