No sound from speakers

I just purchased a Sena 5 unit and there appears to be no sound coming from the speakers. The manual states when the unit is turned on, there should be audible tones, I do not get them.  Also, configuration options should yield voice prompts, I get none.  When I turn the unit on and then turn the dial, it seems to power the unit off!  I can only assume the unit is defective?

I emailed support 24 hours ago and have received no response.

  just installed an SMH10.

   

  No audio whatsoever.  No menu, no bluetooth.

   

  Garbage brand new out of the box.

  Hello friends, I bought a brand new SENA SMH5 but just worked the first day when I connected the speakers, now I'm trying to install in my helmet but suddenly the speakers doesn't sounds anything, no music, no calls, no tones, nothing! what happen? thanks in advance for everyone.

  Hello Carlos, yes... I fix my issue: I applied here in the SENA web page a warranty because was a new brand, the customer support solved giving me a new replacement device, and I returned the damaged unit.  That was the solution, they replaced the device for a new one.  Greetings.
