reducing the microphone audio recording
Possible would be reducing the microphone audio recording? The audio of my voice gets too high in the video recording.

I have the same issue with my Sena 10C. The mic is way too sensitive and I'd like to know if there is a way to adjust the gain on the mic? I can't seem to find it in any literature or on this forum.

I also noticed the same issue. Both Video and HFP mode on two-way radio. I am trying out various microphones that should offer better noise cancellation and I will report back my findings. But hopefully an option to reduce microphone gain will be in the works in a software release..

It looks they don't really care about this issue, but to be honest, it's just simply ruins the main functionality of this product. I already made a ticket, but no answer yet. I don't how should I try out new microphones, because the connectors are specials and don't want to cut the wires just to test out another microphone.
What I did, I just plugged my Nokia headset into my phone, which is the basic headset they give you when you buy a new phone. Then I fixed the mic into my helmet, same position as the Sena boom microphone and went out for a ride. The difference is huge, the Nokia headset was much more better, much more clear, around 120 km/h it was crystal clear, of course with wind noise, but I was understandable much more then with the Sena boom microphone (which had a fur over it). The Sena mics (wired and boom) are too sensitive or something else, because around 70 km/h they start to distort everything.
I'm really sad, because I can not use this as it is now and don't know what to do, sell it or wait for software update, which will happen in years imo.

Actually there is some movement on this. I heard back from support yesterday and after some of my testing, they are working on a solution. Hang in there as I am sure a solution is coming. 0 -
I hope they are working on this!! Thank you for your reply! I really like this product with all their features.

Anybody got some useful info about this?

As I mentioned before, support has the information and is working on a solution. I provided sample recordings and they are aware. These sort of things can take time as the software engineers will have to consider the options and test any changes before they release an update. If you have not already done so, be sure to submit a ticket voicing your concern about the loud audio. If you can, submit a YouTube link with a sample like I did. that will help with the effort. 0 -
I don't know if they working on it or not, but they don't really like to answer questions which can be here or even as a ticket.

I don't think this is the correct platform to expect an answer from support. This is really for support from other users I believe. Do you have a ticket # open with support? That is where you should be posting your concerns and expect a reply. If you have a ticket #, let me know what it is as I am in communications with one of the support personal and I could mention it to him.

I have a ticket: #99000. I made my comments 10 days ago, still waiting for answers. I made videos, sound files, comparing files. The only answer I've got was like this: "You did everything and it is a good thing if a microphone is sensitive". Of course they wrote more, but the rest isn't important.

Basically there is nothing I or others can do against this huge amount of gain. Honestly, I covered the mic with at least 5 different layers and it was much more bad then without those. It's not just the gain, it has something like a dynamic amplifier which raises the gain if you cover the mic. Instead of reducing the gain if nothing covers it, it keeps at the same level, but the other way, it increases the gain, how stupid is that? I don't get it.
$300+ for this piece of ....
Anyway, the support is also a piece of .... Waited 20 days for nothing. They can link specs from the site and bullsh....ng about how good is this if it's sensitive. They have no information or just don't want to tell anything about a new firmware or a new adapter where i can replace this piece of crappy mic. Also they spamming the forum with stupid questions from the FAQ, very nice, that's all they can do.
Sorry for being harsh, but I spent a lot of money on this and I can't use it.
ps. Last product from this "company". I hope I can do a refund by the seller.

Based on feedback, we are working to improve the microphone on the 10C and will be providing a solution soon. We appreciate your patience.

"Soon" :) I hope this thing is under Beta testing now.

Can anyone from Sena give some information about the solution mentioned above? Maybe a release date? Something?
