SMH10 Bluetooth

I received an SMH10 as a gift 2 weeks ago.  I have had several issues:

1. The velcro pad on the boom mike detached after 1 use.  Glad I didn't loose the mic.  Can you advise why this flaw is present and what remedy there is?
2. If I listen to a podcast [using Podcast Republic podcast player], connectivity is fine if I am stationary. As soon as I start moving, it cuts out and I repeatedly get the audio message 'intercom failed. please try again later'.  This repeats incessantly even if the podcast restarts, and will continue at a lower volume if/when the podcast restarts.
3. If I listen to a Amazon Music, connectivity is fine if I am stationary. As soon as I start moving, it cuts out and I repeatedly get the audio message 'intercom failed. please try again later'.  This repeats incessantly even if the music restarts, and will continue at a lower volume if/when the music restarts..
4. It appears to work fine if using Pandora or Google Maps for directions.

Please let me know if you have any recommendations or if the unit is faulty and what is needed to return it.
