Voice activation of intercom does not work
Apart from disappearing FM Radio and somehow problematic of properly tuning some stations (it appear that frequency jump after does not fits perfectly as some stations have bad tuning despite of many attempts to adjust tuning), I struggle with more crucial functionality which does not seems to work from day one:
- Intercom works quite OK only when I turn it on manually by pressing the button on 10U remote OR by starting session in any way on second Sena device (SMH10R) - manually or using voice activation on SMH10R,
- Both: headphones and microphone works correctly,
- ...but any attempts to initiate Intercom using voice has failed so far…
- Voice Activation of Intercom is turned on in the configuration,
- I tried to turn it off,
- I have done few times even hardware reset (by the way 10U set has hung up by itself about 3-4 times in maybe 12 hours of total usage…)
- I have tried factory reset from the device menu
- No luck so far…
- FM Radio sometimes works but I do nto use it too much, music sharing (from SMH10R) works, navigation works, phone calls works, Intercom works (if turned on manually).
Is there technically possible manufacturing failure of this kind? All device's elements connected seems to work but voice activation of intercom does not work…
Is any of 10U user successfully using voice activation of the intercom connection?

No :( Nobody from Sena has any interest in this problem and also looks as no other user (apart you and me) has problem using Voice Activation of Intercom. Weird ...
As the microphone is working, I see no simple failure point which could cause 10U device to NOT to receive my voice and activate Intercom accordingly - looks like some sort of software issue but this should influence many (all?) users of 10U.
I have raised this question ONLY to decide if I should return the device under warranty OR wait for new firmware release a bit patiently. But id Sena does not care - I will simply return the device. A bit pity if this will be only software issue correctable by firmware upgrade. 10U is somehow integrated now with my Shoei helmet and talking it apart will jeopardize a bit delicate pieces of 10U...
But I have no choice.

Seems like someone listened, Sena have just updated the firmware for the 10u only certain models yet, no c3.
The description has in it, guess what, VOX SENSATIVITY YAY!!!0
