SMH10 Wired mic wind noise in full-face helmet
Because both my wife and I wear full face helmets (she rides behind me on the same bike), I bought a pair of SMH10 units with the wired mics. I ride a bike with a windshield, and the air is so calm at speed I often ride with my face shield up. We've tried theSMH10s on one ride, but the continual wind noise coming from my mic to my wife's speakers was so bad I had to turn her unit off. Of course she was sitting behind me, but I could hear no wind noise coming from her mic to my speakers. The kit included a little cover for the boom mic to help with wind noise, but nothing for the wired mic. Any suggestions for what to do would be very much appreciated.
We had a pair of Scala G9s for a short time previous to the Sena, and never had that problem but the Scala was so bad in so many other ways that I sold them to buy the Sena. I love the Sena in every other regard (Bluetooth connection w/ my GPS for directions and music), but as of now the intercom is unusable.
Thanks.
