Siri doesn't hear me - spins
When i give a quick press to the phone button, Siri will activate. However, when i then ask Siri for directions, or a command, etc. she just spins and eventually suggest a few example commands. It seems that she does not hear me.
I can confirm that the the mic does work as I am able to use voice commands via "Hello Sena".

This is an issue with Siri in that she still thinks you are still giving a command and will not process it as normal. The only solution is to press the Siri icon on the phone once you're done speaking the command in order to force Siri to stop listening and process what you have said.

actually, I disabled the Sidetone feature on the 20S and Siri now works as expected.
I don't believe this is an issue with the phone as it does not hear the initial command. It is something within the Sena unit that is not allowing the voice to get to the phone.0 -
well, scratch that. the results are inconsistent. occasionally Siri will hear me, and other times she will not. rebooting the iPhone and disconnecting/reconnecting bluetooth does not fix.
what i do know is that it is not a matter of siri not knowing when to stop listening. if that were the case she would hear what i had said and display that text on the screen if i pressed the home button. this is clearly a case of siri not hearing me at all.
please advise.

Gordon is not alone and this is not a Siri issue. Siri will recognize the first command given, subsequent to which the voice command will not be recognized (ie the circle will continue to spin without display of the command until Siri finally states, "I seem to be having trouble with my internet connection"). The issue is with the connection between the S20 and the phone unit. There are no issues with Siri when is used separately. Also, if the phone is rebooted the connection will work only once, and then return to the described problem. 0 -
Update your iPhone to iOS 9 as this update has improved the responsiveness of Siri for when you're speaking into the microphone on a Sena headset. Make sure to delete the 20S from the Bluetooth menu from before updating your iPhone and re-pair it back to it afterwards so that it doesn't cause any problems.

I'm running iOS 9.1 and I have the same issue on 9.0 and 9.1, this is frustrating as I am now unable to get Siri to call my partner without stopping the bike to get the phone out. I've done the pairing/re-pairing with no luck

I have exactly the same problem that John Place is describing. Brand new Sena 20S, latest firmware (1.5 as of now), iPhone 6S with latest iOS (9.1 as of now).
If I use Siri with the phone there is no problem. When I use Siri through Sena then Siri just keeps waiting and doesn't hear me.
It also lags commands a lot.So for example, when I say "Call John Doe" via 20S then I can see "Call" only and the phone keeps waiting.
This obviously does not happen on the phone itself. Can you please advise as it is very frustrating having to deal with this kind of problem on a brand new device.
Thanks.

I spent a few hours with apple tech support and found out that Sena has known about this for some time and even made the following recommendation.
Sena has stated this: We have noticed inconsistent response from iPhone's Siri feature. We are investigating into this matter to see what can be done to improve compatibility with Siri. During the time, I recommend you to disable Siri and useVoice Command feature of the iPhone
I did this and the phone calls went through immediately. Unfortunately I do not get the usual double check from siri if I want to call this person. Until Sena steps up and fixes this problem we need to disable siri when using this bluetooth device. You can still make a call by pressing the phone button on the bluetooth.
Sena please fix this problem. Purchased the 20s dual and spent over $500.00 now provide a firmwear update that will work.

I disabled Siri on my 6+ and Voice Command dialing now works fine to call my contact list via the 20s.
It would be nice if Sena can get Siri compatible again, but I don't miss her much.

Well this is a bit disappointing to find out (after I just got my 20s) that there's a problem using Siri with it. I read tons of reviews and everyone talked about how great the 20s was. Siri works extremely well for me and I thought I would be able to control everything hands free through the 20s mic, (music, gps, phone calls). Now it looks like I'll have to program in all my phone numbers to use the speed dial function. For some reason Voice Commands are not working for me as easily as Siri did. Not sure what the problem is, especially when Siri understands me just fine.

Same problem in a motorola X play (android), it worked in previos sena (sena smh10) but with sena 20s doesn´t work.

I now have the answer to the problem. Just got off Chat with Apple Support.
The key is General>Reset>Reset All Settings
This is different than Rebooting. Reset solves the problem. Reboot doesn't.
The un-pair and re-pair your phone. After hitting the 20s phone button, you should see a different screen that says, "Voice Control" instead if the black Siri screen that doesn't work.
