    I am having the same issue with my. I was able to get the 10c to connect the first few time to set it up and did the Firmware update, now I haven't been able to get it to connect to any computer I tried 4 different computers just to make sure it wasent something on mine.  beside that the 10c works grate with the phone application steaming music.d submitted a ticket for the issue still haven't heard back from Sena.

    Sena had responded  to opened ticket a week later  instead of fixing the issue they had sent me a new replacement device. The replacement came in with the newest update and it worked great with the Computers for a week. but  the 10C started having the same issue again with the USB port not being able to connect. The device still works good as it should, just wont be able to connect it to any PC. So this time i am  just going sit back and hope that Sena find a fix for this issue in stead of just patching the issue.

    I am having the same problem.f I have tried several computers Windows 10 and Windows 7 on and old laptop. Tried the paper clip reset on the back and followed the instructions to the letter with formatted 32gb SD card!!! Still getting "FAILED TO RECOGNIZE DEVICE. CANNOT OPEN USB" Please help?

    So I went ahead and opened a ticket with Sena. they ran me through the some troubleshooting steps which I will post below this.  which did not work for me. Even went as far as refreshing  my Windows 10 PC still with no luck.  Little more than two weeks later Sena opened a RM to have it replace. FYI they are little on the slow side of replying back.  and I am still waiting for the replacement device.

    Here is some of the troubleshooting steps that the tech had me to do. Hope it helps.

    Sena Tech Support, Nov 16, 8:58 AM:

    Is the driver installed for the 10c?

    Try to see the the usb is readable by your computer:

    Go to the C: drive 
    --> program files (x86) folder, 
    --->Sena Technologies, 
    --->Sena bluetooth device manager 
    --->and do a usb check.

    And should say Sena device is found.. This msg. will disappear in x seconds.

    Also, if the above info does not work: 
    Open your device manager up---> 
    go to control panel, 
    click on the device manager, 
    go to universal serial bus controllers, 
    looked for the usb it is connected to, 
    and right click and updated driver software.

    Also if you are missing the drivers (how to install):
    --->program files (x86) folder
    --->--->Sena Technologies, 
    --->Sena bluetooth device manager
    ---->dpinst64.exe
    (Once installed should say cambridge silicon ready to use)

    Also your computer may not want to recognize your device due to a driver enforcement/signature issue when using 3rd party software such as Sena. Here are some links to check on how to disable driver signature depending on which Windows OS you are using:

    hello ,
    i just bought 10C and its not recording videos,i have inserted 16Gb memory Card,  i go in the camera mode by tapping the camera button, and it goes in the camera mode, and voice says camera on, on my mobile App i have set Video Mode to "viedo mode" and when i press camera Button for 1 Second the voice says " Recording " and there is no green light flashing its still flashing the blue light,  when i press the camera Button again for 1 Second to stop Recording  the voice again says "Recording". after that i switch off the camera and connect to PC to see if it shows any Video in the SD card, and my PC does not detects the SD Card untill i go in the Camera mode in 10C, then after Detecting the SD Card it does not show any video in the SD card, but if i change the camera Mode from " Camera Mode"  to "timelapse Mode" in my Phone App and then switch on the camera and press recording and then it says " Recording" and it does shows the Green light flashing, and then when i try to stop the recording by pressing the camera Button for 1 second it says " Recording Stopped " but the green light is still flashing, and when i connect to PC to check on the Video and there is still no video, the 10C take pics very well and saves them in the SD card.
    Second problem,
    can i connect the 10c to hawk bluettoth Helmet which uses the bluetooth version 2.0?

     

    can you please help me solve this issue?

    Hi.

    I am having both issues, the 10C not being recognized by my or my wife's laptop and the camera says it is recording but nothing is saving to the SD card!

    Has anybody got an update as to what is happening or have I just bought myself a dud xmas present?

    After trying three different computers and no respons from the device, I mailed the helpdesk. THey would call me tonight.

    As I had a little brainwave before the call, I changed the micro usb cable that was delivered with the 10c and used an old cable (from my previous sena smh5)

    and guess,...... tatatatatataaaaaa............... it functioned, no problem at all.

    I am having the same issues .

    If it was a cheap piece of crap fair enough but it cost almost $500 Australian.

    Not happy and I want my money back .

    Since opening this post I discovered the issue was  mostly operator error, Unfamiliarity with product.

    Now I have used my 10C for approx 3 years and can say without fear or favour that this probably the best devise on the market.

    Quality video and excellent other functions.

    I have recently purchased a Sena 3S-W that works a treat with the 10C after I purchased a Fleabay el cheepo, that is now in the bin.

    Recently I was having some battery issues with the 10C and dropped it of at the my local support centre.

    They have thoroughly test and check both devices free of charge.

    BTW my pillion reckons the 3W-Sis just the ducks guts, we have intercom she has access to the bike music and her phone.

    The 10C is a feature filled device.
