While I can play back Pandora through my phone (Razr Maxx), controlling the Pandora app is unreliable.  Volume up and down work, of course.  Doing a "press and turn" with the jog button turning in one direction (counter-clockwise, IIRC) will cause the Pandora app to stop playing the current track and request a new track.  So far, so good.  But doing a 1 second press on the jog button sometimes pauses and un-pauses the app, and sometimes it does nothing.  Supporting volume up/down, skip track, and pause/un-pause is, for me, an acceptable minimum control set.  The platinum version would have these features plus "thumbs up/down" and station changing.
