correcting noise issues with mic
I just received my SPH10H-FM for my half helmet. My husband said there was a lot of wind noise when we were trying to talk. I decided to try to eliminate it by removing the foam piece and putting a small square piece of thin fabric over the mouth piece and replacing the foam cover. It worked great. He no longer hears any noise when going down the road. The foam cover was a tight fit but if the fabric is very thin it works wonderfully.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes - the wind noise on these units makes them almost impossible to have a conversation at any speed above 10 mph. Lots of complaints about it all over the internet and these forums, but apparently Sena does not seem to care much after the sale. Also, You basically have to dis-able the VOX Intercom feature or a simple breeze will trigger the unit to turn on and off constantly. Pretty lame not to have a sensitivity adjustment on the units. I have radios from the 1960's that are able the adjust the sensitivity.

I cut the finger off an old leather glove, punch a small hole in it and aligned it over the mic. Zap strapped it with a small zap strap and walla - reduced the noise by 70%
