I am using a wired microphone in a Nolan modular helmet.
I was able to snake the wire up the side and into the chin gard, but the wire was a bit short.
The microphone had to be placed slightly off center in the chin guard to allow the wire to flex with the flipup chin guard without causing any tension on the glued microphone pad and wire connector.
A longer microphone wire, about 2 inches, would do the trick.
Also, I improvised, using self-adhesive velcro pads, the means to secure portions of the microphone wire within the chin guard so that the wire remains hidden and secured when opening and closing the chin guard.
