Solar Rechargeable Batteries for SMH10R

I just ordered a set of the SMH10R and really like how the battery attaches externally to the helmet. My idea was to either use a solar rechargeable battery that can attach to the helmet or keep the existing battery but wrap it in some solar rechargeable wrapping that would keep it charged and allow the rider to use the battery as the back up?  the rider is out in the sun most of the ride so why not use the elements?
