It would seem even with the app I can't get it to display the correct date...

@ Xxjackxhackxx - In case it helps you: The 10C can pair with up to two phones or other Bluetooth devices. I found that date and time will only update with the app running on the first paired device.

In my case I noticed that the date when the recordings were created is different than the phone date. So I'm not sure which is the actual date set on the Sena 10C as it seems to be 12 hours difference between it and my phone. As an example the recording was made at 10 A.M accordingly to my phone but looking over the recording on the card it was created at 10 P.M.

    Anyone has encountered this behavior?

The 10C looks like the best Motorcycle related product since the invention of the helmet.  It's fantastic EXCEPT there is no headphone jack.  The decibel level at highway speeds even on full face helmets is above "temporary threshold shift level," and is damaging over time with out ear protection.  Compound that by turning up your speakers to hear music OVER road noise and your killing your ear cilia forever.  Please add a headphone jack to the 10c so those of us who don't wish to wear hearing aids later can were insulating earbuds now.   I'm a little shocked you never gave us that option to begin with.  It can be frustrating when companies cater to their naive customers at the expense of their intelligent ones.

Video date sync appears to be incorrect 2014.... rather than 2015. The app has many faults, these can be improved upon. No video preview for one.

Also having a problem getting the date and time to sync.  Downloaded the Smartphone app.  Now what do I have to do - do I run th esmartphone app mand the device on video at the same time to get them to sync?  The is no place in the app to set the date time!  (arrgh)

I did it!  Here is what I did to get change the Video date/time on my Sena 10C:

    1) Turned on 10C.

    2) Waited for Bluetooth to connect to my smart phone.

    3) Started the the Sena Smartphone App and engaged the "Basic Settings Menu".

    4) Turned on the Video camera (single pressed Camera button until it said "Camera ON")

    5) Started the recording by holding the camera button down till it beeps once and says "Recording ON"

    6) While holding the Smartphone in my hand, turned off the recording (hold the camera button down till it beeps twice and says "Recording OFF")

    7) A grey message flashed on the screen of the smartphone "Date and Time sent".

    8) Just to be sure.  I recorded a second short video and this time both the file info tag in Windows and the date time on the video are now correct.

    Regards,

And once again, thanks from Windows phone users, they got no apps, so no way to set the clock of the 10C... Well done guys...

Bill Gould you sir are a genius, I did exactly what you said and the date and time updated from 01/01/2014 to today's date. Thanks

Come on Pascal it's not Sena's fault that nobody is developing for Windows iOS

It is outrageous, bizarre and unacceptable that one must have a smartphone to do something as simple as setting the date and time within the Sena 10C. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever that I can change settings on the 10C via my PC and Sena's own software, but I need a additional hardware and software (i.e., a smartphone and it's app) to set the date and time.

Sena, please correct this problem ASAP and release an updated version of Sena Bluetooth Manager. I should not have to buy a smartphone to operate the Sena 10C.

I had success following the same method used for the Prism camera.  Create an empty text file "timeset.txt" on your computer and move it into the root of the 10c memory. This alters the date/time without the need for the phone app.

I had to roll my 10c back to firmware 2.3 to get the time to set correctly.

My next helmet head set will not be a sena.

A couple of weeks ago I received my first Sena, a C10 Pro. Although generally satisfied with it, I do find it rather annoying that the camera seem to be unable to remember the date and time.

I can set it via the smart phone app, no problem there... but it'll soon forget it again and set a date like 31th of December, 2010...?!

How do I make it remember the date and time?
