Is it possible to share GPS between headsets similar to music sharing?

The type of audio that is used for GPS directions from a standalone GPS device like a Garmin Zumo series is not able to be shared between two headsets. However, we will look into the possibility of adding that functionality in the future.

There is a way . . . using the FM radio feature of the 20S. AND, it works great!
Route the audio output from your Zumo to an FM radio transmitter. Set the transmitter on a clear channel for your area or wherever you're riding. On both of your Sena 20S units, turn on the FM radio and tune to that channel. You'll both hear the Zumo and everything that it produces.
A huge added feature of this arrangement is that you can now connect your smart phone directly to the Sena. The Zumo IS NOT paired to the Sena under this arrangement. It is not needed.
My friend and I were riding across the panhandle of Texas. I was listening to my Zumo's MP3 music via the FM transmitter on 99.1. My friend on his motorcycle also tuned his Sena 20S to 99.1. We listened to the same MP3 music that was coming out of my Zumo, transmitted by the little FM transmitter. When the Zumo lady gave routing instructions, we both heard them simultaneously.
This is the FM transmitter that my friends and I purchased. It has an internal battery that doesn't last long enough. But it also has ability to run of the motorcycle's battery via the cig lighter socket and a USB adapter. Mine is now semi-permanently attached to the motorcycle and comes on with the ignition.

Ken, that is a very clever way of sharing the same GPS directions with someone. We'll inform our customers about that alternative when this question comes up again in the future.

I wish I could, but I can't claim the idea. Another user on this forum offered the suggestion for those of us that were having problems with the Zumo interfering with Intercom. I tried his suggestion and published a long comment on what to buy, how to do it, and how it works.
Using an FM transmitter and the Sena's FM Radio feature put the Zumo at the same priority as all other audio devices. For 13 days on a 4-rider trip, we all used the FM radio transmitters to hear our Zumos. We never experienced a Sena outage, power down, or intercom interruption. Alerts and routing instructions were heard without losing intercom. Too bad Garmin didn't think about putting an FM transmitter inside the Zumo GPS. The FM Radio feature of the Sena 20S is outstanding for this. The pairing of the Zumo to the Sena as "1st Phone" was giving us all kinds of grief. Any Zumo alert, power up/down, button push, etc. would cause a loss of intercom. Now using the FM transmitter? No problems at all.
We now pair and connect our smart phones directly to the Sena 20S and can use voice dialing to call home, friends, hotels, restaurants, etc while riding. Siri usually understands things like "Call Holiday Inn Express in Dumas, Texas." confirms the command, and then does it. Cool feature of the 20S and iPhone Bluetooth interface. Our 4-rider Sena 20S experience for the 2-week trip was phenomenal this year because of the FM transmitter idea.

Hi! Should this work with other FM radio intercoms (i.e. SMH 5 FM)?

Mircea, it will work with ANY FM receiver, including all of them in any bluetooth headsets.
