Hi all,

I am very happy with my Smart HJC 50B, but I have a problem connecting it to my KTM 390 Duke with the KTM My Ride system. This system is simple, you just connect the phone to the bike via bluetooth, so you can control the music from the controls on the bike itself, and then from the bike you connect it to the intercom via bluetooth, so you can hear the sound through the helmet. It also allows you to hang up or pick up phone calls without having to take your hands off the handlebars, which I think is essential.

So far this worked great with my previous helmet and a generic universal intercom, the sound quality was not very good... but it did the job. Now I have changed to this Smart HJC 50B system and I can't get it to work, it can't be that difficult!!!

I have already updated the firmware to version 2.5 as indicated in this forum (https://community.sena.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/23917805473428-new-firmware-for-HJC-smart-50B-Sena-50r?page=3#comments), for which I am very grateful, but I can't solve my problem.

I have tried all possible options: connection with another phone, connection with media, connection with remote control... and none of them works fully.

Basically, the first step I do is to connect, as I said, the mobile phone to the bike via bluetooth, but then, although I manage to connect the bike to the helmet, as soon as I touch the control of the bike, the sound of the helmet disappears....as if taking control of the controls the bike, everything is dumped on it and the sound no longer comes through the bike to the HJC 50B.

I have also tried modifying the bluetooth connection options of the phone itself, sharing or not the multimedia sound, calls... but without success.

I would need a step by step on how to make the connection correctly mobile --> bike --> helmet for everything to work as I want, it's bluetooth, it can't be that hard!!!!

I'm sure this has happened to some other fellow bikers as well, if anyone knows the answer please give me a hand.
