    It really does sound like the battery is failing under load or losing connection internally, even if the app shows it at 100%. When a Sena powers on instantly with USB but shuts off during a ride, that usually means the battery can’t hold stable output anymore. I’d still try a full reset and firmware update just in case it’s a software glitch, and check the charging port to make sure nothing’s loose. But in most cases, a battery that works only when external power is connected is on its way out. It’s similar to what we see in the Plumbing Marketers world, systems can look “fine” on the surface, but the real issue shows up when pressure is applied. If it keeps happening, reaching out to Sena support for a battery replacement is probably the best move.
