    Hi,

This headset was developed specially for HJC IS-17 and HJC IS-MAX2 which are integral helmets. The speakers, and micro are integrated into the cheek pads.
I am afraid that the cheek pads will not fit into HJC C91N. Or ? You could also ask HJC or a dealer if the cheek pads are exchangeable between those two helmet families.

The Sena 10UPAD is designed to fit a wide range of helmets, but the compatibility with specific models like the HJC C91N requires considering both the mounting space and the helmet's design.

Compatibility of the Sena 10UPAD with HJC C91N

    1. Sena 10UPAD Mounting System:

      • The Sena 10UPAD is a communication system designed for modular or full-face helmets.
      • It uses a two-part system: a main unit (which attaches via a mount on the side of the helmet) and a boom or wired microphone.
    2. HJC C91N Helmet:

      • The HJC C91N is a modular helmet, and its internal padding, shape, and the design of the side panels must accommodate the mount of the communication system.
      • Fitment Concern: The key challenge is whether the mounting plate for the Sena 10UPAD can be securely fixed to the C91N's side panel. The side of the C91N typically has space for communication systems like the Sena SMH10, 20S, or other similar units, but the fit may vary based on the padding and side profile of the helmet.

    Steps to Verify Fitment

    1. Check Mounting Space:

      • The Sena 10UPAD requires a flat mounting surface. Examine the left side of your C91N and see if there’s a suitable, smooth area for the mounting plate.
      • If your helmet has a curved or irregular side, you may need to adjust the positioning or use an alternate mounting method (e.g., a helmet mount adhesive pad).
    2. Check for Additional Mounting Options:

      • If the 10UPAD’s mount does not fit perfectly, you could try Sena’s universal mounting kit or adapt the installation to use the C91N's existing slots (if any) designed for communications systems.
    3. Consult with HJC or Sena Support:

      • If you have concerns about the fitment, it’s a good idea to contact Sena or HJC support directly for advice on the compatibility of the 10UPAD with the C91N.

    Alternative Options

    • If the Sena 10UPAD doesn’t fit the HJC C91N or if there are installation difficulties, you may want to consider a different Sena model that is known to be compatible with modular helmets, like the Sena 20S EVO or Sena 50S.

    Conclusion

While the Sena 10UPAD might fit the HJC C91N with the right mounting adjustments, you should verify the available mounting space and consult with Sena or HJC for specific fitment guidelines. Let me know if you'd like further assistance!
