After firmware update to 2.6 I cannot mesh with any of my group
After firmware update to 2.6 I cannot mesh with any of my group. They have a 30S and 50 S and new ineertgrated helemet Sena. Im the only one that did the update out of the group. They can all talk on our usual Open Mesh channel 1 with each other no problem. But mine will not join the mesh with them. It tells me that it is on open mesh channel 1 but there i no comms with the others. I tried turnin off and on again several times. no joy.

I have not been able to confirm this yet, but there is a setting in the mobile app to switch from 3.0 mesh to 2.0 mesh. I'm hearing rumors that if others are in 2.0 mesh and you are in 3.0 mesh there is no connection. Apparently, it is not backward compatible. Go into your app and change it to 2.0 mesh or make sure everyone in your group is on 3.0 mesh with latest firmware update. Waiting for Sena to give clarification on this.

I experienced the same, my friend upgrade and he couldn't communicate with anyone. I went home updated 2 of my 50s and only one took the 2.6 update and after doing so the mesh didn't work. I restored the 2.5 and it was able to mesh again

Yes, just confirmed today on a ride with a group of friends. Many had not had the update yet to 2.6. My Sena was on mesh 3.0 and there senas were on 2.0 and we could not communicate until I went into the app and switched back to mesh 2.0. After that we could communicate.

I updated my 50S to firmware version 1.5 (March 2025) which has Mesh 3.0 and now can't communicate with others via mesh. This should have been made backwards compatible or there should be warnings not to update if your riding buddies are not able to update to 3.0. Very inconvenient!

From my understanding, it is backward compatible. You should have the ability to change from Mesh 3.0 to Mesh 2.0 in the mobile app when your sena is connected via Bluetooth to your phone. Everyone in your group has to be either on Mesh 3.0 or Mesh 2.0.
