Will an update for Mesh 3.0 be available on the Impulse helmets?

  I too have the same question. Within the group that I ride with, I am currently the only one with a Sena Impulse helmet. The remainder of my group have all updated their helmets with Sena to be able to use Mesh 3.0. I will not have this capability. Why is the Impulse not included with the Mesh 3.0 update? Should be get rid of our Impulse helmets and go to another brand i.e., Shoei where it will cost us more than $800 to be able to upgrade to Mesh 3.0?

  I have the Impulse helmet and updated the firmware that included Mesh 3.0 before a trip.  I didn't realize that the friends I was riding with hadn't updated their Sena firmware and I was having all sorts of problems communicating.  Fortunately, Sena had enough foresight to have a switch in the app to turn off Mesh 3.0, which I did, and comms were perfect after that.
