Phone Connected to Wireless Android Auto Device for Visual but Listen and Voice Command Through SENA SRL?

I want to use Android Auto (AA) on my Pixel phone to feed the wireless android AA Adapter I purchased ( It's an Ottocast clone) for navigation and visual music/route selection, but listen to the music and the navigation prompts from my phone, and issue voice commands through, my SENA SRL 1 headset in my SHOEI Neotec 2 helmet.

I was able to pair the Sena with the AA device as a "GPS", but the volume is very low and seems unable to be adjusted using the volume control on either the phone or the SRL. 

Hoping someone is able to offer some guidance on how to make this work properly.

  I am attempting pretty much the same amd wonder if you were ever able to get it to work

  I was able to get the C5 to pair with both  my phone and Sena SRL. What I seem NOT to have been able to do is get the C5 to recognize the helmet microphone. I cannot answer calls or use Google Voice Assistant (I can do these things on my helmet when directly linked to my phone). I think what I have is an older model that does not support this. What model is it you have?  Are you Android or iOS?My plan is to buy a newer model. I would do a web search stating your requirements.  Let me know what you find.
