SENA app will not allow control of taillight even after updating to v1.2.3

After updating both via WiFi and USB, the app still says "latest firmware update required to use LED taillight function". The app shows firmware v1.2.3 installed.

  Unpairing the helmet from the app (deleting it in the app) and reconnecting just fixed the problem

  These steps didn't resolve this issue for my C1.
