Been using the 30K in mesh only with other riders and it's a huge step above Bluetooth only intercom. I can listen to music while communicating in mesh as well.

Only negatives, but not an issue for me, is that you can't listen to music if you use Bluetooth intercom, and it's noisy when you bring a few 20S units into the mix in Bluetooth mode while connecting to others in mesh.

So if your friends are willing to go mesh all the way then the 30K is fantastic, but if your friends stay with the 20S then you might consider staying with the 20S as well.
