30k + SM10 + Mobile Phone Music
I have a Sena 30k and bluetooth stream back ground music to it when i'm riding. I have recently purchased a SM10 so i can connect a radar detector. How do i stream from both devices when riding and give the SM10 priority over the music when the radar detector goes off. After the radar has done it's thing i need the music to come back on. I'm trying to avoid plugging the phone into the SM10.

The SM10 uses A2DP to stream audio to the 30k. You will have to feed the music from your phone to the SM10. You only have 1 A2DP channel available. The upside to this is that if your music stops you know you've lost connection to your radar detector as well. The only other option is to use an sr10 on the second phone pairing. This will interrupt your music when the radar detector alerts. The issue here is that the sr10 is huge.
Several of us have found that having an sm10 connected kills the range on the 30k. Most of the time the people we are trying to communicate with say we sound distorted and we go out of range very quickly.. Shutting the sm10 off immediately remedies the situation. Hopefully a future software revision on the 30k will fix this.
