THE biggest issue of operating ANY of these communication systems is learning the controls.  There are SO MANY functions to control and only three buttons and we have to memorize all of these different combinations of button strikes, i.e. taps, long clicks, double clicks, combo clicks, etc.  It's hard enough with the instructions in front of me and the helmet in my hand.  Dealing with it while riding is frustrating, distracting, and dangerous.  Add to that, most riders only ride a couple of times a month.  If I rode every day I might be able to master all the commands and controls, but I don't.

What about an app for the phone with labeled buttons like a car radio?? I might take several screens.  There could be audible reminders of the button strikes for each command.  

If I was smart I'd develop this app and make a fortune selling it.
