DWO-5 not working

I have a brand new bilt helmet with DWO-5. I can answer phone calls on it, but can't make calls or get it to listen to music.  When i press the center button for 3 seconds, nothing happens.  This is when you are supposed to make a voice call.  When I play music on my phone, it will not transfer to my helmet.  I know he phone is paired to the DWO bluetooth, because I can recieve calls, but that is the only feature that is working.
