Make sure you have not only the unit on but the camera on too. Do you see the 10c pro in you’re wifi selections?

I do see the Sena in my Bluetooth section in my
Phone. I can connect phone to the unit but not the app to the unit. I tested it out made phone calls listened to the radio through the helmet all works great. Just can’t connect the app to see my live feed or save files.

Do this. Power the unit on. Then press the camera once to turn the camera on. Then in you’re wifi selection (not Bluetooth) look for the Sena 10cpro and connect to it as WiFi (not Bluetooth) open the camera app and it will connect

When I get home I have to check this. I was looking under Bluetooth the whole time I had to connect it to the WiFi

    I amaze myself.

I am having the same problems today. I can see the 10C Pro wifi signal and connect to it, but when I go back to the app, I can't connect, and it loops me back to the beginning of the setup. So frustrated....

I have been having this issue with my 10c pro around Camera functions. I have done a lot of testing and research on this device and was able to fix my device.
What was the status on my device?
    A) device was powering on, battery was full, I was able to pair Bluetooth intercom, make calls, listen to music , do factory reset, play FM. I could press the above button which said “ Camera On”

    Problems I was facing:
    1) after camera on - I couldn’t get wifi signal on my phone device
    2) I couldn’t start recording
    3) I couldn’t go into camera setup to format device
    4) my firmware update would fail at 12%

After trying various SD cards and not getting any results I got frustrated and started a tear down of the device.

I opened the device by removing 5 screws.

At the top was the camera board which was connected to motherboard. I noticed that camera board is held to mother board by just few lock pin connectors and there is no screw holding it together. I carefully first removed the camera board to examine all connectors and then I placed the board back into the mother board slots,  pressed it gently to make sure it was snug from all directions and I inserted a SD card and everything started to work. Make sure that the small black plastic seat for the board on the front side is seated correctly on top of the two holes, else you won’t be able to get proper fit and those two front screws won’t fit.

I concluded that there was some loose connection between the camera board and main mother board which is why only camera functions were impaired.

Next I tried to update the firmware, it wasn’t recognizing device. I realised I was using a regular usb cable. I switched to Sena USB cable and it started to recognize the device and firmware installation went beyond 12% and now failed at some 35%.

This was due to a 64gb SD card. Then I put the SD card in my laptop and deleted every thing and created a primary partition of 29gb and left other space unallocated. Tried firmware upgrade again. It completed 100% and my device was fully up and running.

Hope this helps someone. Feel free to drop me a note at Anurag.moudgil at gmail if you found this useful or have any further questions. Please don’t try this if you aren’t comfortable with handling small screws and tiny motherboards which are very delicate and can break if not handled gently and carefully. In that case pls show it to Sena support guys.
