I had exactly the same problem with a brand new dual set Sena 20S Evo.

The unit from which the battery was empty after 1 week has been returned to my supplier and they changed the unit for a new one!

Both units works well now and are still full with energy after a few weeks when not using.

The set was only a few weeks old and there fore warranty.

Unfortunately mine is not warrantied anymore.

I hoped that trying to plug the unit on the cradle and powering it on and off would solve the problem (a user had had this solution on this forum) but in my case that didn't worked ...).

I'm thinking about adding a micro switch on the black wire of the battery : I would cut the black wire and add the microswitch putting it outside of the unit. That's not wonderfull but I don't find any other solution and I wouldn't want to trash a unit that can still work !

If ever you have better idea, don't hesitate !

A shame that it just happened outside the warranty.

If you didn't opened the unit I would have tried with the supplier to get a solution.

Broken after 2 years is not normal.

If you look at the website from Sena you can see that they offer also refurbished 20S Evo for Usd. 179,-

That they do this means for me that too much units come back in warrenty time, get fixed and sold again in a second life for less money.......

My brother has also bought on my advice a new Sena 20S Evo and the battery is also dead after 3 weeks.

He will send this unit also back to the supplier for exchange.

They are too expensive for accepting these kind off problems.
