Sena 50S and BMW GS 1250.

As you may know Sena (or any) intercom have to be connected to the BMW TFT if you want to use all the functionality of BMW TFT and wonderwheel (calls, music, volume). 
This means that the Sena cannot be connected to the phone, otherwise the BMW cannot connect to it. So I need to delete the connection to Sena from my phone's BT contacts.

My question: can I use Wave in this circumstanes - or Sena must be connected to the phone for using Wave functionality?
