SC2 Compatibility?

I have a Schuberth C5 helmet with the Sena SC2 communicator installed. A riding buddy wants to buy an intercom for their non-Schuberth helmet so we can communicate on long trips. Is anybody using the SC2 with non-SC2 intercom system, and if so, which one?

  Yes — the Schuberth SC2 is basically built on Sena hardware, so it works best with other Sena units. Your buddy doesn’t need another SC2 specifically. Popular compatible options are:

  • Sena 50S
  • Sena 50R
  • Sena 30K

  They should pair easily via Bluetooth or Mesh intercom. The 50S/50R are usually the best match if you want reliable long-distance communication and Mesh support on trips.
