After over a year of trying, I finally got the firmware on my SC2 updated today!

Having been totally out of ideas, I took my helmet (together with a new power/data cable from Sena) to my local computer repair shop. They hooked up the SC2 to their computers and immediately identified the issue preventing the upgrade: a corrupted file in the Bluetooth system. Once that was sorted, the unit took the latest firmware update, no problem! The fix cost me £25

May I suggest that if the firmware upgrade on your SC2 continues to be an issue, take it to your nearest computer shop!
