Sena 50S microphone not working on Firmware 2.7.1
Just for you to know:
With the latest firmware 2.7.1 for Sena 50S my microphone did not work.
I tried different apps, smartphones and mics included with the Sena.
To solve this, I downgraded the software to 2.6-build3 and now it is working again.

Pls fix your firmware, Sena.

Where can you obtain the 2.6 build or .img file? I have the same issue with Smart HJC 50B

So, you need to download the specific version of 2.6 for your unit and variant of hardware. This is available from the sena website; do some google search and you will get there.
The real problem is that their software for managing firmware only allows you to move forward, not backward. WTH!

So...after trying to locate the previous files from both Sena and HJC, the answer was that South Korea manages the software firm files and I couldn't get anyone to provide contact information to ask for a copy. What I had to do instead was file a warranty claim and send my device back to the retailer and they sent in to warranty department. They did resolve the issue and determined that my particular case was due to a faulty boom microphone. Everything works perfectly now but I was inconvenienced for a few months. I hope this helps others. Ride safe out there!
