M1 EVO Music & Coms
As per my discussion with your support HERE, I was told to make a feature request.
During this discussion, I was told that early on, you guys designed the system to allow the Music & Coms to work together, meaning that in Music mode, if you received a broadcast from your riding partner(s), the music would lower and you could hear and respond via the Mesh Coms.
However, I was then told that the feature was removed as the wind noise would constantly break the auto-squelch and folks were complaining. Evidently, your techs tried to resolve the issue back then but gave up.
As we know, this feature is enabled in your motorcycle versions and works well with much higher speeds and wind noise, so this is something that can be improved with more recent learnings. Wind socks can help this tremendously as well. This should be something that is allowable for end users to see if their specific environment and conditions allow acceptable performance. Some people don't ride bike very fast, or in continuously windy conditions.
I am asking for Sena to restore this functionality with a firmware update, that will provide a switch in the app to turn this Music + Coms on and off. If you are hot-rodding or it's windy, turn it off. If you're just cruising with no wind, turn it on. Add a homemade windsock and improve the functionality if you want.
Please advise.

1000% agree with this post and the easy solution for Sena. This feature needs to be added back. One of the primary reasons we bought these more expensive helmets. May return them for something less expensive if we can't have an option for music and mesh. As suggested - Have the option to turn it off instead of developers making that decision for the user to not allow it.

I also agree whole heartedly with the need to have music available concurrently with the intercom. We enjoyed this feature with the shipped firmware until we upgraded to version 2.3 firmware. My wife enjoys music will riding and hates this change. Without this feature restored, we will be shopping for new helmets and cannot recommend them to others.

Sure would be nice to get an acknowledgment from Sena on this.
