Stryker Firmware

I recently received my new Stryker helmet. When I try to enable the tail light it says that I need the new firmware to use that function. The option in the motorcycle app to update the firmware is greyed out. I the Device Manager app on windows it says that it is unable to connect to the server. What can I do?

  Switch off the helmet, unplug it, and relaunch the app. This ought to suffice. Although the firmware update instructions state that you must reset the helmet for it to work, spider solitaire 2 suit did not have to do so.
