User guide states that you must hold center button 12 seconds. Keep finger pressed on it and you will hear Intercom pairing....keep finger pressed and about 3 seconds later you'll hear "configuration menu" press + and you'll hear different options of pairing. Go through the options and you'll get to configuration reset. Most of the troubleshooting tips say 12 seconds but it's longer and you have to hear the menu.
