30k mesh problem

Problems with the 30k mesh function. We turn the duals on and wait for boot up. When complete we tap the top button under the antenna and wait for the mesh to connect. Prompt says connect on channel one, then mesh disabled; blue tooth connected. Am i doing this correctly.

If i turn the units on; installed on the helps and lay both on the couch they stay connected. Once we speak into the mics mesh disables? Any thoughts?

  The same issue occurs when I attempt to update my 30k reach 20% fail with an undeliverable status word wipe
