No Microphone Audio on Calls with SFR

I have a brand new SFR. I can pair it with a phone and make calls, but the other party can't hear me. I tried both supplied microphones. Also, I hear my own audio echoed back in my earphones (with some delay). This might indicate that the microphone circuit is working and it's a software issue. Using default setting, latest firmware.

Very frustrating. I spent $200 instead of buying the cheap Chinese version because I wanted something that worked out of the box. It's a $200 dud and I can't return in because I left it sitting for too long before unpacking and testing.

I've contacted Sena support...we will see how that goes. Meanwhile, any suggestion on something else to try will be appreciated.
