unable to download firmware- Mac OS 12.4

I am unable to download the updated firmware for my 10U for Shoei Neotec. My operating system is macOS Monterey v12.4. The Device Manager screen downloaded, but appears to be inactive- unable to get the Device Recognition function to work. My original USB cable works fine for charging the battery. I have to use an aftermarket hub to connect the Sena and my computer- hub is operating properly.

Any ideas on what the next step might be- other than sending this device to the trash?

  I am having the4 same issue with the Spider ST1.  I am using Mac OS 12.6 and Device Manager 4.3.5.  When connecting the device to the Mac and kicking off the app, the app fails to recognize the device.  The error returned is "Failed to recognize device.  Cannot open USB [1]][N]".  Unable to check or download firmware.
