Its now July 2013 and I to am having hissing/poping only when I'm using my intercom. Did you get your problem resolved?

Is anyone else experiencing static when using the intercom? If you did were you able to remove it by doing somthing?
When I connect to my partner using the intercom there is static, like a hissing sound. When I disconnect from my partner the hissing goes away. It's that way on both units.
