It's definitely a software problem. It was working fine prior to an update. Not sure which update, but one of them definitely caused the issue.

I had exactly the same issue today. On the outward trip it switched off the Sena the instant the TomTom tried to do an announcement. On the return leg, I didn't connect the TomTom, it worked fine.
