Issues with 50s

I bought 3 of the 50s. They will mesh together but will not mesh with anyone else. I’ve tired to update the firmware however none of them will connect to wifi or even the device manager. I’ve watched all of the videos that I could find on connecting these to WiFi and nothing works. Seems like this was a complete waste of money.

  The device itself can't connect directly to WiFi, but rather thru the iOS or Andriod phone app.

  Has that been attempted?

  Sounds frustrating! Have you tried resetting them to factory settings before attempting the update? Sometimes that helps with connectivity issues.

  Latest firmware activates Mesh V3.0. Which is not compatible with older SENA Mesh V2.0. According to Sena all Mesh devices will get V3.0 eventually. If you do not want to wait. In the App there is a switch to move to Mesh V2.0 .. Issue solved.
  
  As Sena has no change log for firmware updates with hints, things are crazy. Bringing such a change without any communication is bad customer service. Even on the web firmware updates take up to 10 weeks and more to be published. That is like CREATING chaos on purpose
