Carl - there is also one other thing I forgot, put some tape over the microphone then slide the cover back on it to. This deaden's alot of windnoise coming in the helmet.

Thanks for sharing the information "Bernardlieberman" that's a great idea. I got mine exchanged and its working great. I do agree its a great camera and a great setup for the money. LOVING IT!

Kenny may I ask why you didn't decide to get a replacement instead of a refund?  Cycle gear is going to exchange the camera for a new one tomorrow, but is this a known problem with?
