That didn't fix it for the cards I already had. I bought a new Samsung 32GB class 10 micro sd card and formatted it in the 10C and now I can record video.

I'm also having the first problem you described. I can't record video. When I press the camera button the voice tells me "Camera on" and I get about four green flashes before the led starts flash...
