10U battery on headset problems

    have the same problem with my wifes 10U shoei neotec. I see there is no feedback from Sena. It's charging now and need about 8 hours. Using time max 6 hours. I think I'm going to change under warranty if they will accept it.

    Never saw something about recall??

    I must have dreamt the recalled and the only reply I got from SENA was to do a fault reset...this did not fix the problem.

    I don't know about a recall, but I read somewhere that Sena had acknowledged a bad batch of batteries.  I was able to swap mine out under warranty at the store I bought it from, but haven't used it since I received the replacement.

    Just purchased mine in the last two weeks. This weekendplaying music and intercom the 10U only got about 4-4.5 hours until dead from a full charge. Wow was I suprised vs the 10S performance which I get more than a weeks worth of commuting per charge.

    I don't think Sea will change to a new one. The problem is that my Sea 10U Shuberth works well and last at least two day's. 10U in neotec configuration max 5 hours

    I have the same problem with my 10U for my neotec helmet, but I can't get Sena to reply to my email request the support sucks and I think they are stalling to just get me past my warrantee date next month, not very happy with their service or the durability of their product, wish I had known this before I purchased the unit

    My two month old SC10U set is stating 'low battery goodbye' on startup despite the unit being left on charge for correct time (and until blue light shows).  It then turns off.  Problem started immediately after I did the requisite firmware update.  I pressed the reset button and tried restoring the firmware update.

    Problem was intermittent at first and is now constant.  I think it's a faulty battery but am suspicious about the firmware update also.  No answer from Sena technical support yet..  No answer from the on-line retailer.

    Very frustrating.

    Any updates on short battery life for the Shoie Neotec 10U?
