    Hi Chris Barker

to reinforce what Ken said, all of our devices can be paired together via bluetooth intercom pairing. the SRL2 and SMH5 are no exception to this rule.

I would first start with putting the SRL2 into BT Pairing mode, then follow up with the SMH5, and tapping the jog dial on the SMH5 once you hear "intercom pairing"

Should be able to.  Put both units into "intercom pairing".  You should hear a "deedle dee" tone from both units when in pairing mode.  Then tap the jog dial on the smh5 once.  It may take a few seconds before both units sync and then pair up.

The Sena SRL2 is designed to work primarily with Sena helmets, providing a seamless integrated communication experience. The Sena SMH5 is an older model and belongs to a different product line, so direct compatibility between the two models might not be guaranteed.

To support a communication environment with many headset brands, the Sena 5S may be coupled with one non-Sena headset at a time. Hold the Jog Dial button down on the 5S for ten (10s) seconds, fnaf security breach then watch for the "Configuration Menu" and the "Gearwheel" symbol on the LCD.
