New 20s firmware 1.6.1
Successfully upgraded my 20s to the new 1.6.1. They seemed to fix the firmware manager for the mac too. It doesn't have the bluetooth warnings anymore and it works with the wireless mouse. They said they improved connectivity to the SR10. I wonder if that means it fixes the occasional robot voice problem experienced my me and others? I guess we'll see.

Hey Sena if your listening the SMH-10 also needs some help with the SR10 interface. Occasional robot voice with it also.

I wonder what they fixed. They never give specifics.
I got a message from my tech support request today, saying that the new firmware is ready. I'm assuming that they fixed the problems that we were having with 3 or more intercom users causing A2DP blank-out. They didn't say, but the response that they had new firmware was written to my issue.
Too bad because the five of us gave up and purchased Scala PackTalk units this week. My Sena is no longer in the helmet. It was weeks of any acknowledgement that the 100% repeatable problem we were having was duplicated at their facility and that a fix was coming. I'm not planning to sell the 20S just yet; it'll be my backup, especially if the PackTalk fails.

I agree Ken. It certainly would be nice if they would be more forthcoming as to what exactly has been updated or fixed. Having that information would at least let owners know if their specific issues were resolved with the update, or not. The updates have been generally helpful to an initially very buggy product. I think when you jam too much stuff into an electronic product it creates interaction issues. Couple this with high consumer expectations and the associated complications involved in operation - the human error component - you get a product that fails to deliver for some folks. The product works for me though for what I use it for but it has been a learning curve that I don't think consumers need to have. When you add this along with all the other consumer electronics I have to keep up on, it becomes a little overwhelming. "It just works" should be the mantra along with "keep it simple, stupid!" to ALL consumer electronic companies.

bjj,That doesn't tell me anything at all. A2DP pairing GPS device support, for instance. What does that mean?
We're having problems when more than 2 people are Intercom connected. I don't see anything in their information that tells me that they've made firmware changes in that area at all.
If they'd simply explain what they've been working out in more detail, we'd have an army of people testing out those particular functions and giving feedback.
You see, I own a software publishing company. With each revision, I tell our 1,000+ business clients exactly what the revision addresses. We get valuable feedback and the clients experiencing the issues stay informed. It's a win-win.
