Freewire, SRL2 and Mobile phone
I have a Goldwing, and SRL2 headset and am thinking about getting the Freewire so that I can use the bike's systems too.
1. Does the SRL2 headset work with the Freewire?
2. If it does, can you be connected to the Freewire and mobile phone at the same time?
Thanks,
John

Not a Sena rep, but...own a 50S, so...
The SRL2 is equivalent to the 20S. So, the answer is yes you can be connected, but there's a catch.
You'll have to decide which device is 'primary' and which device is 'secondary'. My Freewire is paired to the second BT channel, while my phone is on the primary channel of the headset device. This allows me to utilize the music playback from my Goldwing, while also being able to utilize a radar detector (or external GPS) with the aux input.
The phone takes over for notifications, phone calls, etc. You can't have *both* audio channels functional at the same time; a limitation with the switching within the Sena.

"Yes, the SRL2 headset's multi-point pairing feature is really convenient for connecting both the Freewire and a mobile phone at the same time. It’s great for listening to your bike’s audio system while still staying connected to your phone for calls or navigation. Speaking of multitasking, if you're into editing and sharing videos on the go, you might want to visit here.

The Sena SRL2 (which is basically a 20S in Shoei guise) does work with the Freewire adapter. You can have both the Freewire and your mobile phone paired at the same time thanks to multi-point Bluetooth pairing—but you’ll need to choose wisely which one is your primary audio source, and which is secondary.
