SRL3 -- Sena Updater Error message on PC "device not recognized"
I have new SRL3 on my Shoei Neotec 3 helmet. Wanted to make sure I have latest firmware. Using the provide cable. the USB port on my PC (Windows 11) is good, I've checked with other USB devices. When I plug in the SRL3, the updater software doesn't recognize it. I've tried rebooting the PC. All my other USB devices work fine. Any suggestions? thx

I’ve had that happen to me several times. The app needs the USB cable to support data transfers and not just a charging USB cable. Try another USB cable that supports data transfers. Hope that helps.

Yep. That was it. Needed to use a specific data/power cable and not the WiFi adapter capable.

Hold down the center button while plugging in the USB cable to force it into firmware update mode.

Note: Only 2.4 GHz network is supported.
