wind noise triggers VOX
NEOTEC3 and SRL3, NEW.
Helmets fully closed, microphone in correct position my passenger's mic pics up wind noise so much it triggers the VOX and we can't hear the music. I have played with all the logical settings and we are using the bluetooth intercom and NOT the mesh. Anyone have an idea what I'm missing?
Also, when first turning helmets on I have to press my center button 4 times to get our helmets to communicate. Thoughts?

NOTE: Not a Sena rep, but...
Try "VOX Intercom" off and "smart volume control" to off.
The first issue (wind noise) may well be interfering with your second problem (unable to hear shared music via Bluetooth). There is a distinct drop in music amplitude when the music is shared using BT, but not quite as bad if it's possible to Mesh to your passenger.
The "press the button 4x" seems like you're not getting the BT connection to sync as it should. Might consider documenting your current settings, erasing everything on your SRL and starting over.
