Same question here. Not using a 10u but a 20S Evo.

I would like to have a slider on the phone app where I can select the overlay channel and to set the audio volume. So 2 sliders one for each channel would sounds like the best option.

Just wondering Karl, can you adjust the volume out of the Zumo you have paired with your 10u?  I think you can. See pg 3 of instructions for Zumo.

    Ken,

My first thought was “Of course I tried to adjust the volume on the Garmin.”  But I looked at the manual anyway.  I found that the volume control is disabled when connected to a Bluetooth headset.

Thanks to you, I do have a solution.  I didn’t initially look at the owners manual because there was not one included with my Garmin, only a quick start and installation guide.  Once I looked in the manual, the solution appeared in the form of the audio mixer.  I was able to adjust the output levels for the navigation, media, and proximity alerts using the audio mixer.  This provides the work around that I need to prevent the GPS from screaming in my ear.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    Hi Karl,

where did you find the audio mixer? I do not have that on my phone app nor do I have it on my Garmin device. I have a garmin 390 paired with my Evo 20S.

    Please advice.

I have found the Audio mixer on the Garmin, but this only mixes the sound on the garmin device. I still cannot control the volume on my Sena device.

I would like my communication via conference not to be interrupted.
The volume of the intercom is now lowered too much so I can no longer follow the conversation and have to ask my passenger each time to repeat what she has said. This is offcourse because she does not know when the GPS start talking ...

Glad you found the mixer.  I understand this doesn’t do exactly what you are wanting, didn’t for me either.  That said by lowering the level in the mixer it is decreasing the volume of the GPS in my headset.

i would take a look at your settings using the Sena app.  Make sure that you have the priority set to intercom.  Maybe that might fix your problem?

    Hi Karl,

I think I have tested all settings in the SENA app, but I don't recall having a priority setting somewhere. Where did you find it in the app?

I was mistaken when I mentioned the audio priority.  This only works when audio multitasking is not enabled.  Do you have multitasking enabled?  I enabled it on my headset and am able to hear the gps and intercom at the same time.

I am also running a Garmin Zumo 396LMT paired as GPS only. The problem is that the GPS is too low i can barely hear it
